Through navigating the challenging waters of 2020 we found ourselves celebrating one of the biggest accomplishments for our brewery: On the evening of Friday, October 16, we claimed a GOLD MEDAL at the 2020 Great American Beer Festival (GABF)!
Black is Beautiful Collaborative Effort for Social Justice
Earlier this year, Marcus Baskerville, Founder & Head Brewer of Weathered Souls Brewing (San Antonio, TX) put out a call-to-action for breweries around the world to join the Black is Beautiful initiative; “a collaborative effort amongst the brewing community and its customers, in an attempt to bring awareness to the injustices that many People of Color face daily”. We at CBW are proud to answer the call and join in Marcus’ mission to “bridge the gap that’s been around for ages and provide a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone of any color”.

What else can we say about Dude Incredible that the name doesn't already convey? It's delicious. It's unique. It's beloved by a cult following of fans that eagerly await its late summer to fall seasonal return. And now Dude Incredible is available in cans for the first time!
Labor Day Weekend at Community Beer Works
It's our last weekend of taproom and patio service for a little while and we're commemorating the end of our #10DaysofCBWSummer with beer releases, a pig roast, and double reward points on Labor Day!
We Have Big News!
After a couple months of enjoying the sun on our beer patio we’ve decided it’s time to take a step back and reimagine our taproom at 520 7th Street. Starting this weekend our beer patio will only be open for service* on Fridays and Saturdays throughout August. Then, starting Labor Day (Monday, September 7) our taproom and beer patio will close, for a little while.
